Dale Schneck has written his first YA (Young Adult) novel titled "Ripped Jeans, Bruised Hearts," which is now available in paperback on Amazon.com. Film rights to the novel are now being considered.
Schneck has just completed the screenplay for his original erotic thriller "DEAD END MOTEL."
DEAD END MOTEL logline: A Dark Web content provider secretly records sexy female Satan worshippers who lure two twenty-something rock musicians to his remote motel for a mixture of erotic “magic” and sadistic rituals. Committed to fulfilling the devil’s requirements for human sacrifices, the Daughters of Beelzebub harvest the ingredients for a demonic potion. Schneck describes his new script as a blend of "Fifty Shades of Grey" with the terror of "Saw."
Screenwriter and producer Dale Schneck was contracted in 2022 to write the pilot episode for a projected scripted series titled "Blood Hunter: Thirst and Rage" for Canadian production company Nicholson Productions.
Dale Schneck is also the co-screenwriter and Executive Producer of the action-horror feature “Masked Mutilator,” which was recently licensed for North American rights by Severin Films Inc. and Intervision Picture Corp. (L.A. and London). “Masked Mutilator” was released in May 2019, with Blu-ray and DVD sales via the distributor as well as Amazon and eBay. The well-reviewed film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime, YouTube Movies and Tubi.
Schneck has also written original screenplays optioned by such production entities as Kings Road Entertainment (“Enemy Mine,” “All of Me,” Smart Egg Pictures, co-producers of the “Nightmare on Elm Street” horror franchise.)
Schneck’s career has spanned the worlds of optioned and produced screenwriter, personal manager, film critic and educator teaching courses in filmmaking and journalism. For 7 years he was Film Arts Editor of The Morning Call (Allentown, PA.) Many of Schneck’s columns and features have been published internationally through The Los Angeles Times Syndicate.
Having managed a number of pro wrestlers who worked for major national promotions, Schneck is co-creator of a scripted drama series set in the behind-the-scenes world of pro wrestling with Doug Yasinsky, himself a former pro wrestler, promoter, and also CEO of World Cagefighting Championships.
Along with TV personality Steve Mittman, Schneck has created a reality series titled “Final Grade,” capturing the emotional reunions of teachers with their former students.
The creator of the comic characters known as The Fartleys, Schneck has written and portrayed them in a series of short YouTube videos. He is also creating and writing a sitcom based on The Fartleys.
Schneck began his career in entertainment while in college deejaying on WHOL Radio (Allentown, PA) when it was a Top 40 station back in the 1960’s. At the same time, he became the personal manager of THE SHILLINGS, a rock group which he ultimately signed to Mercury Records where the group was produced by Wes Farrell who also produced David Cassidy and TV’s The Partridge Family. Later Schneck signed The Shillings to mega-producer Don Kirshner, creator of TV’s “The Monkees” and “The Archies.”
